History

Back in 1996: after having spent over 15 years in various management positions in the hotel industry, I wanted to do something different. I decided to set up Mindstream International, beginning as traditional meetings and events’ organiser, whose main office located in Waver (South of Brussels, Belgium). That was the time the Internet emerged as a mainstream platform for communications, commerce, and data/content delivery. I saw the opportunity to help companies use this exciting technology to improve the way they organise their events.

In 2007 Mindstream opened a second office in Ghent and appointed an expert from the medical industry. This next step was to broaden the scope not merely geographically in Belgium, but also permitted to offer our services to other domains such as institutions, hospitals and associations.

The last major changes in our company occurred beginning of 2011: we opened a third office in Brussels to satisfy the demand of our International Clients, and we reinforced our team by appointing new experts with a deep industry knowledge and proficiency in associations’ congresses.

Yet, here we are, the “next generation”: celebrating our 15th anniversary with a new addition of expertise, a local angle from our 3 offices across the country, and very broad up-to-date industry knowledge and network, at an international level. The environment has evolved, so have we.

Mindstream continues its development to the next level, ready to constantly meet the demand of the market and the challenges of its Clients: state-of-the-art technologies, communication, education, growth, ROI are such aspects integrated in the way we organise meetings.

Of course, we couldn't have done it without a professional and dedicated team, and the great support from our Clients; this is the secret behind our long history.
